3 different classes each Saturday…

10 - 11 am: snare drum and drum set. Basic rudimental concepts on snare that are applied to the drum set. Students will alternate between practice pads and drum set (if they choose) and learn concepts of soloing and drum fills. Students will also play along to tracks of various styles. Beginner to advanced welcome.

11am-noon: Fun with Rhythm. In this class, students will learn different grooves using hand drums and various small percussion items like shakers, bells and blocks. Family participation is highly encouraged. Ask about the “family rate!” Ideal for elementary age students and their parents!

12-1pm: New topic each week, including rudiments, marimba, drum set and hand drums. This class is geared to the middle school or high school student and adults looking for new techniques and grooves.
